1) Early Beginnings:
Today, the Padayatra team led by Bala Krishna Guruswamy rose with the dawn, embracing the tranquility of the early morning at 3:30 AM. They began their day with a heartfelt pooja, offering prayers through Agni Homa and honoring Gaumatha, a gesture of love and respect for the sacred connection we share with nature. This spiritual start filled them with renewed energy and purpose as they embarked on their journey.
2) Padayatra Route:
Today’s route will take the team from the serene surroundings of Ghanur, Punjab, to the welcoming embrace of Keval Krishna Goshala in Ambala City, where the lunch is scheduled. As they navigate the challenging terrain, their night halt will be at the Cantt Goshala in Haryana.
Note: In light of the ongoing farmers’ protest, our dedicated team encountered unexpected roadblocks, necessitating an additional 25 kilometers of walking today. Despite this challenge, their unwavering spirit and determination shine bright as they adapt and press forward. Overall, they expect to cover approximately 40 kilometers throughout the day.
3) Community Impact:
As the team makes their way along the journey, they engage with local communities, passionately advocating for the protection of Gaumatha. Each interaction becomes an opportunity to highlight the critical role that cows play in our ecosystem and culture. The team emphasizes the urgent need for Gaumatha’s protection and calls for her recognition as our national animal—a symbol of nurturing, sustainability, and compassion.
Jai Gaumatha!
Jai Shree Ram!
