Under the leadership of Bala Krishna Guruswamy, a noble initiative is underway to save cows and the earth through a 14-state, 4900-kilometer padayatra (walk) from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The Gau Maha Padayatra, aims to raise awareness about the importance of cow protection and environmental conservation. The padayatra is scheduled to commence on September 27, 2024, from Srinagar’s Lal Chowk, with a homam ceremony at Adi Shankaracharya Temple on the same day. The journey will cover 14 states. The effort aims to spread the message of cow protection and sustainability, promoting a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
